We found this place online while cycling Ireland and thought it looked good. We read reviews that mentioned the noise since it's in the heart of Galway. But we travel with earplugs and thought this wouldn't be a problem. The room was a bit small but clean as was the bathroom. There was no towel rack in the bathroom though...

The tall receptionist guy was very friendly and helpful. The room size is adequate, the bed set-up is lovely and we had a good sleep there. Few things I have noticed: No bedside lamp - we moved the one from the table so it was fine. There's no cupboard! There's a luggage rack and above it a rod with about...

Visited in September for the Oyster Festival, great location in the heart of the city centre, hence some rooms as it says may experience a little noise but its only to be expected. Clean rooms and nicely decorated, a bit of TLC on the maintenance of my room would be better but nothing which didn't spoil our stay. Café and...

Booked Eyre Square Townhouse more or less last minute - wanted somewhere central for one night that wouldn't break the bank. Eyre Square Townhouse perfectly fitted the bill and exceeded our expectations having read previous reviews. I would recommend ear plugs, but aside from some (expected) noise from the street, the room was spotlessly clean, bigger than we'd expected, really...

I booked a double room for 2 nights(Friday 18th-20 Sept) in this establishment back in mid July directly through their website.I received a call on the Friday morning advising me that the room was no longer available and that they had made alternative arrangements for me to stay in a B & B which was situated out towards Salthill.Obviously someone...

More like a hostel than a guesthouse, cramped rooms, no charm, very basic but the beds were comfortable, we had 2 double beds, the bedding was clean. There was no storage space, no opening window but the a/c worked, no security lock on the bedroom door. This accommodation may suit young people but the price is on the same level...

Family of four on an overnight. Room cramped with a double and a queen sized bed, grossly inadequate for four adults (about 12' x 12'). Bathroom dirty, mould on the net curtains, paper peeling off the walls, damp in various spots and tea/coffee stains on the walls. Did comment to the guy on the reception about how small the room...

We stayed there for one night in June while we were visiting family in Ireland. We tried several hotels around Eyre Square but they were all booked except this one. The place is clean and the location is priceless! The room we stayed was a bit small but it worked perfectly for what we needed. The night time was not...

Stayed for a weekend, was surprised at how modern, clean and central the place was. One minute walk to Eyre Square and all it's shops, restaurants and pubs. Plenty of parking nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice for a short stay, great little cafe downstairs. Would recommend it and would stay again.
