Our room was small, very limited space. It could have used some paint / varnish. The bed was small (4'6") and squeaky. The bathroom had carpet; the bathroom shelf was loose enough to fall off; the hot tap came off in my hand. We were greeted by a friendly Philipino member of staff. Sadly we did not meet the hostess,...

The toilet in the hallway had no toilet seat which is disgraceful. It was like going back in time, the rooms are so dated and really horrible, the owner should be ashamed of themselves and embarrassed. The shower trickled water, there was a soap dispenser in the shower which had watered down soap in it, THERE IS CARPET IN THE...

We spent one night here €70 on special, reduced from €110, booked 3,weeks in advance. upon arrival the place was full of college students presumably checking out for the weekend and heading home, we didn't expect that. The room was ok, the bed was well slept in, very noisy and very lumpy, the pillows were also hard and lumpy. Breakfast...

I arrived at 11pm at night after having to book new accommodation last-minute. After arriving, the guy offered me a discounted price that only included a 'simple breakfast', but not the full Irish. I agreed as I wouldn’t have eaten the full Irish anyways. After paying, I learned the wifi was down. I was pretty upset about this as after...

*Warning, this will be a long review* Myself and my partner, along with our 2 year old Son decided to stop over in Galway for a few nights before heading on to Dublin to catch a ferry back to the UK. I booked through booking.com. initially I booked for one night at €55 but decided to book 2 more nights...

My husband and I were in the area and thought it would be nice to have diner and possibly stay the night at ashford cattle. We drove in our BMW and wearing smart casual clothes through the gates. We assumed that we at least looked like we could afford a stay. We were met by staff on the parking area...

This place is a disgrace for the price we paid €120!! Only booked it last minute as we hadn't intended on spending the night in Galway and I'm sorry we didn't make the long drive home! The room we stayed in was not in the guesthouse but down the road and around the corner which we found very inconvenient as...

I should have checked the reviews before booking. This place is awful , dirty bathroom lumpy bed, cold room, traffic noise terrible, room wasn't ready at 3.30 even though they said 1.00 completely overpriced, do not stay here.

Booked it on Booking.com reduced price from 80 euros to 67 euros thought it might be a good bargain on arrival they didn't know we were coming, the staff who didn't speak much English had to phone the owner to confirm our room booking. The hoovers were still out hovering at 3.10pm in the afternoon. We were brought to the...

Irish breakfast was nice. Carpet in bathroom! Bed creaked when getting in and out of. Very small room for 3 beds - had to climb into double from bottom of bed. Winter quilt on bed in August - kept waking from the heat! Very little water coming out of shower. The price to stay here is a rob.
