The friendliest place in earth. I haphazardly booked a hostel for one night in Galway. After settling into the common room, I realized that it wasn't for me. It was clean enough, but I couldn't see myself sleeping in a dorm. I used the hostel Wi-Fi to book the last room in Galway's excellent Travelodge. It was about 1.5 miles...

Rocco, who was working at the reception when we arrived, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He gave us some recommendations of places to visit in Galway during...

Was worried that it might be very noisy but ended up having the quietest stay in a hotel. Our room was right at the top of the stairs and the first one on the corridor but thankfully Not one bit of noise. Our room was a great size & was lovely and warm. Last year we stayed in another hotel...

Fifteen minute walk into town which is ok as long as weather permits. Not a great deal around the hotel but some eating places in business park across the road. One negative was forced to check out at ten o'clock due to it being xmas eve - not very welcome at all

The hotel was comfortable and quiet and convenient to town. It may not be very fancy but I couldn't have asked for better for the price. Very good value for money. The shower and bathroom facilities weres also excellent, compared to some fancier hotels
