Overall, our stay at Travelodge Galway was standard. Myself and two other colleagues booked a triple room on booking.com primarily because there was a free cancellation and that no deposits were required. However when we arrived there were three males checking in as we arrived at reception. The boys wished to pay cash to which the male behind reception informed...

My friend and I stayed one night in this hotel. The staff proved very friendly upon check in. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The beds are super big and comfortable and the room is a comfortable temperature. You are a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk into the city centre, so...

I stayed here for 1 night towards the end of January 2017. The whole hotel is quite basic. The receptionist was helpful and cheerful. The room itself was basic but comfortable, the TV had a good range of channels. There was no hair dryer. There is a bar and breakfast area that I didn't explore. There was a good WiFi...

We found the Travelodge excellent value for a budget hotel. The staff are nice, place is clean and tidy, everything in good working order. Parking is free and the area has all that you need food and drink-wise.

Room was freezing, don't go there in the winter! There is no central heating, just a plugged in convector heater, which wasn't switched on when we arrived. We switched it on and went out to dinner, but room was still cold when we returned. Tried to ring reception, but room phone didn't work, so had to go down to reception....

Stayed here to attend a family funeral and I have to compliment the staff on their professionalism. David checked us in and straight away he made us feel very welcome. My daughter needed to use the WIFI and David told her that if she had any problems she could use the WIFI in reception. We really appreciated his help and...

The friendliest place in earth. I haphazardly booked a hostel for one night in Galway. After settling into the common room, I realized that it wasn't for me. It was clean enough, but I couldn't see myself sleeping in a dorm. I used the hostel Wi-Fi to book the last room in Galway's excellent Travelodge. It was about 1.5 miles...
