We'd planned our trip to Ireland carefully (husband, sis, bro-in-law, me) and had reviewed many B&Bs on line (and through email communication) prior to making reservations with Padraic at Ard Mhuire. We were hoping to stay in the Salthill area (lovely prommenade and drive) and considered ourselves lucky that there was room for us on the night we requested. The...

Our Host Padraic was a joy, suggesting the BEST places in Galway for Fish and Chips and some pints after dinner, and cooked up a lovely breakfast for us in the morning! The rooms were beautiful, spacious, modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ard Mhuire B&B is in Salt Hill, just a hop away from all of the wonder that is...

The location is great, just minutes from downtown Galway. If the weather had been warmer, we could have walked to the harbor. Padriac was a wonderful host and our room was magnificent. Lots of space and light. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay in Galway and would come back to Ard Mhuire in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this delightful B & B over the New Year period and we had a fantastic stay. This guest house is spotlessly clean, modern, very comfortable and the owner extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room had a spacious and comfortable double bed, a TV with several channels and a clean and modern bathroom with a...

Thirteen family members stayed with Patrick for two nights last May. All of our rooms were large with new beds, mattresses, t.v.'s etc. Patrick was a wonderful host. He went beyond what we would have expected as a host. He arranged for a bus to take a group of us out of town for the evening and even drove others...

The welcome was wonderful, staff and family are very friendly, great amenities, and the best cooked breakfast we've had at B&B's in Ireland.

The host was welcoming and accommodating to us as we were getting our bearings after traveling all night as this was our first night in Ireland! They were very helpful and accommodating to us helping us find a place to eat and giving us sightseeing suggestions. Patriac was interesting to talk to and gave us insight on the history of...

We stayed at the Ard Mhuire for 8 days and were treated like family by the proprietor and staff. They personally made our trip to Ireland a delight. We found the Ard Mhuire comfortable, clean and enjoyed recent improvements - ie, brand new bathrooms. The Galway Golf Club is a short walk away, as is the "promenade" along the ocean,...

This was the third b&b we had booked on our whirlwind 6 night tour of Ireland; the other two were wonderful. We had been driving and sightseeing all day from the ring or Kerry, through Kilarney and Limerick and the burren. We were tired. It was dark, cold and raining. We pulled into the parking area of Ard Mhuire around...

My usual bed and Breakfast was booked so I chose this particular location in part due to trip advisor reviews. I found this establishment to be nothing short of the highest standards. Now forgive me in Ireland for being American(and therefore fussy), but quality and price should not be mutually exclusive. When I book a bed and breakfast I expect...
