This is an excellent B&B to stop at while in Galway. It is in a great location within walking to distance to anything you could need. Ann was awesome and very welcoming! We had a bit of a car troubles and she suggested a local place for us to go to which was very helpful.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Ann is very helpful and accommodating, even holding our bags while we spent one night away on Inishmore. Rooms are on the smaller side and the walls can be a bit thin, but they are clean and comfortable. Located very close to downtown, the university, and Salthill; we were able to easily walk...

My son and I went to Galway with the goal of doing some research on family ancestry. The Griffin Lodge was a great location for us....within walking distance of the train station and the energy of the city center. Our hosts Ann and Marie were warm and welcoming and provided perhaps the best Irish breakfast of our trip. I shared...

I was greeted by the friendliest host you could imagine (who, incidentally, cooks an excellent fry up breakfast) who helped me park the car and showed me to our room. Ours faced onto Fr. Griffin Place but I think regardless of where your room is here it will be quiet. The room itself was quite compact but good enough wardrobe...

This was my second visit to Galway and Griffin Lodge. It is ideal for a trip to Galway, situated 5 minutes away from the centre of town. We booked late so probably had the worst room in the hotel, the middle attic room. Although it was a lovely room, it's not really ensuite as the bathroom is on the corridor....

Ann was a fabulous host! She was both personable and helpful! We loved the location, it was quiet but only a 2 minute walk to the latin quarter and all of the nightlife. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to everyone!

We had a perfect stay at Griffin Lodge during our visit to Galway. Ann couldn't be more nice and helpul with us. She offered us many recommendations to get the best of Galway and the surrounding areas, but the best of all is her kindness, she was always there to ensure everything was fine. Breakfast was perfect, very complete and...

Second time staying at the Griffith House on family holiday. Once again Ann welcomed us with open arms and took care of our every need. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bathroom gets the job done. Close to town - maybe a ten minute walk, but far enough away that you can get away from the tourists and...

We spent 4 nights at the Griffin Lodge in Galway and we can defintely recommend it. We were greeted by Ann in the friendliest way and were lead to our rooms. The rooms are small, but cozy and most importantly, they are clean. Ann really makes the place. She is full of kindness, full of humour and makes everyone enjoy...
