Was here on a conference trip for 3 nights. This is how a hotel should be, excellent friendly staff, superb food, a great bar and entertainment. Many thanks to all the staff who made the stay most enjoyable.

Really helpful staff, at the front desk, in the restaurant and in functions/banqueting. Very good breakfast. Good quality conference delegate lunch. Great gala dinner quality service and food served. Nice rooms with air con. Drawback: the boom boom music coming from the ground floor bar which only stopped at an early hour. Not a bad experience overall.

Stayed here in February for one night, was very disappointed with my room, was looking out at another room window, had to keep the curtains closed all the time. I know that I didn't book a sea view room but felt that paying for a single room that at the very least I wouldn't have to keep the curtains closed...

We got nice room with ocean view. Rooms are specious and clean unfortunately balcony was locked so wasn't possible go out. Breakfast little bit limited, you will find 2 sausages or 4 bacon, staff constantly delivers hot food but in very limited portions.

Nice Hotel. A little out of town, but nice area. View of the water was fabulous. Didn't eat there, but the bar was great. Rooms were very nice, although we didn't have a view of the water. Staff were very friendly and eager to help and assist.

Giving 5/5 says it all. An one of a kind experience end to end. You should stay at least one night in The Prom restaurant and listen to bands playing. Very entertaining including guests interaction. Ask Peggy at the reception for what Galway has to offer. She's very friendly and helpful.

Great location to enjoy a meander along the promenade from town. Staff were more than accommodating and we enjoyed a lovely room on the 2nd floor with a sea view. The food in the bar is brilliant and good value. Would recommend visiting O'Connors bar not too far from the hotel.

Great staff and great location. We enjoyed the mid-term break here and can only imagine how popular this hotel is during the summer holidays, especially with families. Has really great potential to be a top class hotel with some freshening up and improved sound-proofing to bedrooms to ensure even the business people can stay here even when it is full...

Nit sure as the bus service is great. If weather permits, walk along the promenade. Make sure to enjoy the Fishermans seafood place along the way.

The hotel is just over 1.5 miles from Galway city centre, it is 30 to 40mins walk and is almost completely flat.

Should you not wish to walk, you can catch a local bus on the main road, a short distance from the hotel, this will drop you off in Eyre Square which is right in the centre of the city. When I stayed at the hotel last year I didn't use the bus but I think it takes about 25 mins to get to the city centre. Alternatively you could get a taxi which would take about 10 mins for the same journey.

Hope this has been of help.
