Clean rooms, good little pub with very friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved would be directions to the place. We arrived at peak hour time and didn't have an easy time locating the place.

We stayed at the Spanish Arch over the St. Patrick Day holiday while touring Ireland for 2-weeks in March. We exchanged a number of emails with the hotel staff prior to arrival and the information we received was misleading. First, this is not a reflection of the hotel staff -- they were courteous and helpful when they were around. The...

Where do I begin? The Spanish Arch hotel is in an excellent location if you want to shop, walk, explore or visit pubs. The location itself is beautiful with colorful old buildings and cobblestone streets right by the water. Y'know that post card of Galway with the houses by the bay and maybe some swans? That's right by this hotel,...

The location of this hotel is amazing if you're going to Galway and staying out late at night. The room and bathroom were surprisingly large and nice. Price was good. Wifi worked well. The bar below was a lot of fun at night. Great band. Just be aware that it's on a loud multi-pub street, so don't stay there if...

you are only looking to get about an hour or two of sleep that night for too much money. Where do I begin? 1. The staff was horribly rude. 2. The radiator was not working in our room. After calling 3 or 4 or 5 times a small plug in heater was brought. We still shivered all night. 3. We...

I had a few friends coming to stay with me in Galway. I had heard good things about the Spanish Arch Hotel so we booked in for a couple of nights last weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and we checked in with ease. The room was clean and comfortable and looked out on the...

Ideal location and exactly what you would expect from a city center hotel/bar. No point going to bed before bars close as street outside is lively. Room basic but clean and slept 4 of us. Good value no breakfast but plenty of eateries outside. Heat not on in our room but I always find hotel rooms are far too warm...
