Nice, quiet location on the edge of a residential area about 15 minute walk from the Promenade. My room faced the back yard and was very quiet. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions during my stay.

Mike and Marine were very good host/hostess. A very relaxed place to hang around. Room was average size. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Wish the WiFi signal was stronger. Had difficulty getting connected and stay connected.

Taxi fare is usually €8 per day €10 by night. 2 bus services 405 and 402 €2.10 cent one way to Eyre Square ,405 route every 20 mins 402 route every 30 minutes ,Hope this is of some help.

One way, is to take Citylink or Gobus both cheaper and fast direct travel from Dublin to Galway . The Train is good , 2 and three hours journey similar to the buses but more expensive . To reach our house take 405 bus to... More
