The location is super walkable re: downtown Killarney, the internet was fast, they had a laundry service for €5 (a steal), and the breakfast was excellent; the best we've had so far on a driving tour of Ireland. The host is also really friendly and down-to-earth, with a very cute dog named Dobbie.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I didn't get to stay at this property despite booking with our travel agent over six months ago...all of which is relevant to the following comments. On 1 May, we arrived at Mountain Dew around 4.30pm to find the property locked and deserted. We checked our booking. All in order -...

The bed was so comfortable, the room was great. Not one single complaint. Eileen was such a wonderful lady. She made our group feel like family. Our room...

We were only go to stay there one night and ended up staying there for 3 nights. I cannot wait to go back when I...

The accommodations are moderate but comfortable, nothing fancy about the room, bathroom or linens. But the warmth and friendliness of Eileen Carroll the proprietor, the location of this B & B and amazing breakfasts more than make up for that. This B & B is within easy walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants, the jaunting carts, sightseeing and most especially...

We stayed for three nights at Mountain Dew and loved it! Eileen is a lovely host and was always most endeavoured to help, keep the room tidy, even bring new towels every day. The breakfast is outstanding and providing everything you can imagine. This b&b is a gem!
