A very warm and nice welcome from the "man with the Mohawk" (as some previous customers called him). Nice building, clean, warm (even in winter), stylish and well located. I'd come back there without any hesitation !

One of my fondest memories visiting Ireland was my stay at The Sugan Hostel in Killarney. A friend and I stayed one night, but wanted to stay indefinitely. Even though we arrived in Killarney after dark without a reservation, we were promptly helped and made to feel welcome. The friendly, efficient manager, the fireplace, old stone walls, beautiful and clean...

As well as hiring a bicycle for 2 days, I stayed here the manger was helpful and informative. The hostel provided every thing required in a hostel. I recommended this hostel when staying on a budget in Killnarney.

I personally loved the Atmosphere and look of this hostel. Came with 6 people and have no complaints, got to park our car nearby which was nice. Typical Youth Hostel rooms and everything was well accessible in the kitchen. But the location! Oh my the location is amazing, We had such a good time in Killarny and everything we wanted...

The manager {John?} was very helpful with maps , parking info, restaurant recommendations etc.. the room was comfortable, clean. The hostel was quiet. Folks in the morning were polite and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Thanks!

The building is charming, the location good and the facilities extremely clean. That said, I was at first put off a bit by the somewhat obsessive list of rules. I have no problem with the no alcohol policy since it is well advertised and there are no shortage of places to drink in the area. Yet I was somewhat frustrated...

I stayed at the Sugan over a long weekend while I was out exploring Killarney. The weather was wet and cold and this hostel was the ideal cosy place to stay. The rooms and kitchen are nothing to write home about but were clean, tidy and cheap so what more could you want? The best asset is the common area...

This little hostel was probably by far our favorite. The staff were really nice and cool. The room and bathroom was clean. Our bed seemed quite small for two people and we didn't sleep to well but that might of been just us doesn't mean the next person there will sleep just as bad. The other guests were very respectful...

I really enjoyed my stay. The guy who runs it is easily the best part. He is lovely and very accommodating the hostel is right in the centre of town - in walking distance of everything. The room was nice. Clean and modest as you might expect. The only thing was that it was a bit loud at night -...
