We had the best time at this lovely B and B. John and Mary were the best hosts and Bridget in the dining room made our stay so memorable (singing Shanagolden) We booked this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. Situated inside Killarney National Park there was so much to do and see here that I wish...

This is a beautiful house with nice rooms in the heart of Killarney National Park. It is within 3 minutes of the Muchross estate and the abbey and its only a short drive into Killarney. The hosts are great, Mary made us an excellent breakfast. We all really enjoyed our stay there!

Thanks to Mary, John and Bridget for a perfect stay. Other reviews say it all, but memorable details were fragrant peat in the fireplace and tea on arrival, Bridget's firm and accurate guidance in the mornings over an imaginative and well executed choice of elegant breakfasts, real maple syrup on crepes, yum, quiet, with the window open, birds tweeting and...

We stayed 3 nights at Friars Glen and fell in love with this guesthouse. The location was beautiful as was the house itself. The hosts, Mary & John and their assistant Brigid couldn't have been nicer. Warm, inviting and full of helpful information. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The host and hostess (owners), John and Mary, were just lovely; Friendly, helpful and very welcoming almost if we were old friends. Our room was large, comfortable, had a lovely view of the garden and the woods and hills that surround the area. It is...

We stayed at Friars Glen several times over the years and absolutely loved it. The rooms were first class and breakfasts were always delicious. Mary, the owner and Bridgit were very helpful and answered all our questions on things to do and suggestions on where to eat. The views in and around Friars Glen are stunning and should not be...

It is rare that a hotel or b&b becomes the reason for a return trip, but that is precisely the situation my partner and I found ourselves in last week as we left Killarney for home (Chicago). Killarney had been the last leg of our trip, just two full days, and on the recommendation of TripAdvisor reviews, we sprung for...
