They are very friendly and helpful and try to fulfill all requests bringing us a wine bottle opener and trying to fix the wifi. Our room has an old TV that has lost it's colour distribution and only shows green across the top, and there is a wall mounted CD player for people who carry CDs with them on holiday... More

A typical b and b but excellent location for town. The photo is very misleading- I don't understand where this is taken from. The room was fine, clean but a little dated. I think they might be exaggerating the antiques in the property- not that impressive. Generally, fine for one or two nights.

First off all, the key picture of the guest house is some how misleading as it give you the impression its location in a open area, while it was actually located in line with the many other premises running the same business. I have chosen this lodge partly because of this picture. This only rates it two stars. Secondly, for... More

When we asked other people staying in the guesthouse and they said it was down the hall so we walked down and could see no reception and the we spotted a table with some abbey lodge... More

Aussies travelling, found this lovely B & B on Laterooms. Very central to shops if walking & also to surrounding sites of Ring of Kerry if driving. Good room with walk in shower for my reduced mobility. Very friendly & helpful staff & owner, John. Free parking. No restaurant but plenty of eating places nearby. Breakfast was a full hearty... Stayed here during August for one night. We were attending a wedding in a nearby hotel so the location was great. It's only a 5 minute walk to the town centre which is a great convenience. The house itself was pretty impressive, a very friendly welcome upon arrival by a lovely girl. The room was lovely and spacious and had... More

We stayed for two nights in June. The location is terrific and a very easy walk to the pubs, dining and other town areas. The rooms are very clean, yet a bit dated, but as another traveler mentioned, most are of a similar decor. John, the owner, is very nice and helpful. He does opperate two B & B's that... More

Appears to be staffed mostly by non-local people who, whilst perfectly pleasant and efficient, generally don't pass the time of day or make you feel particularly special - as one might expect in a B&B. The owner, seen once, was very pleasant and helpful however. The premises are excellently situated for access on foot to Killarney centre and the National... More
