The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful and the Proprietor Eileen is an interesting, charming and lovely woman. I can't work out whether I enjoyed the food or meeting Eileen the most but the combination of both made my visit a memorable one. I will most definitely return in the future.

We asked a local tour guide we met in a pub for a restaurant recommendation. He called ahead to Mrs. O'Callahan's to reserve a dinner table for us. The owner's son gave us a warm welcome, and the four of us had excellent meals. It was the best steak dinners we had on our 18-day tour of the British Isles.... More

Dinner in this establishment was excellent. They were busy but we got a table and both the service and the food were outstanding. Although they were busy we were never rushed and enjoyed both our server and our meal.

Loved that thisboub syarted their music at 7:30pm not 9pm like all the others - mans we can have a few drinks, listen to some live tunes, be in bed relatively early - and wake up fresh as a daisy in the morning. Oh and the food is ok too!!

Called in here on our way east on a Sunday morning when there wasn't a lot open. The restaurant is upstairs and we had an irish breakfast and a mini irish. We have found the further south we come the smaller the meals get. It was cooked well however and the staff were all friendly

I stayed in room 12 for the one night, on Sat Aug 20th, I was informed it was a small room when booked, but it ticked all the boxes, it was a very comfortable and tidy room, I could open the window as it was facing other parts of the building and the noise level would be low, I only... More

Three of us shared a triple room (2 singles, one double bed) over two nights. The rooms, while dated, were clean and comfortable and the shower was hot with great power. We found the full Irish breakfast delicious - the bacon especially. The guinness brown bread and the dingle yoghurt were worth trying out. While the owner (lady) was not... More

I can't highly recommend enough this gem of a place!!! It's got everything you want when you want to go into a Irish pub. We went in to have dinner & couple relaxed drinks. Nearly every table was full, that says a lot! There was a guy playing lovely ballads on a guitar, not too loud & his voice was... More
