We stayed 3 nights. Excellent location to walk to reataurants, pubs, shops. Rooms are small but very clean. We had a room in the back with a view of brick wall, but it was quiet and we were only in the room when we were sleeping. The dining area was small and crowded on the weekend, but the breakfast was... More

We stayed two nights upon our arrival in Ireland in early April. The hotel is well maintained and located convenient to the downtown shops & restaurants. Our room was a good size and had what seemed like a new, very nice bathroom. Luxurious spot by European hotel standards. The desk staff was pleasant and helpful in booking tours etc. Tommy,... More

OK...I have to say that I absolutely fell in love with Killarney, and this hotel is in a great location in relation to the center of town. The hotel itself was small, unique, and nicely decorated, many rooms (you can wander into other rooms since the doors to all rooms are propped open, till guests arrive) quite nice and spacious.... Just got back from the Fairview, it is an excellent hotel right in the centre of Killarney. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent with a really good choice. The rooms were lovely and clean and I asked for additional pillows which was no problem at all. All in all a lovely hotel for the money that we paid.

Stayed here a few weeks back and it really is a charming little gem bang slap in the middle of killarney. Staff are really nice and bedrooms are lovely. Restaurant is a little cramped when dining the next morning for breakfast. My only negative was that when we were checking out, it was only after we had left that we... More

Fairview is owned by a couple, James and Shelly (or is it Shirley?), and if I could give 1-start to James and 5-stars to Shelly, I would. James isn't really rude, it's just that he isn't friendly. He doesn't smile, doesn't welcome you to his establishment, and pretty much seems disinterested. He also oversells how nice his rooms are (they... More

I booked The Fairview for our family vacation April 7-11 after reading several positive reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The accommodations were very nice, albeit a little cramped for five people. The room decor was very nice and felt very individualized rather than being replicated from room to room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and... More

We have stayed here on a number of occasions and keep going back. The location is great, in the heart of Killarney. It is more like a hotel than a b&b which is great. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are large very clean and beautiful the perfect getaway for a romantic break. The breakfast is great large selection.... More

We stayed here for a quiet night away but maybe our expectations were too high. Dear James, Thank you so much for your complimentary reviews. I would like however to expand a little on the negatives. Jacuzzi " temperamental" - never once had a problem with our genuine Jacuzzi bath. However there is a safety sensor and if the water is not filled to this level the Jacuzzi will not come one. The instructions were... More
