The Algret House was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there is May of 2014. Greta was so nice, so helpful - has a great personality!! Plenty of parking, awesome breakfast. Just a short walk to the center of Killarney for pubs and restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend Algret House!!!

The B&B is in a quiet street with only a 10 minute walk into a huge number of hotels and restaurants in town. We had a car and there was ample parking spaces in the front of the house. GRETA was a very friendly host who gave us advice on what to see and where to eat. The room we...

I was very pleased when offered a downstairs room because I find it difficult to use stairs. The room was large and at the front of the house. It was not possible to leave the curtains open because people arriving could see in the windows. Greta was an obliging and cheerful hostess and gave us very useful advice regarding travel....

Greta was a wonderful host and during the whole period she was making sure we had everything we needed. She provided a map and touristic advices and treated us like old friends. The room was very clean and large enough. The bed, like in most places we stayed in Ireland, was quite narrow though. Full Irish breakfast available, as well...

The location of Algret House is ideal. About a 5-7 minute walk to the city center, and less to Killarney National Park, which is a must-see attraction. Greta was friendly and helpful, and I cannot say enough about the quality of this B&B! Beautiful light wood, clean rooms with lots of storage space, and a wonderful breakfast. I enjoyed the...

Greta makes the best scones I've ever had. As I don't tolerate gluten very well, I probably shouldn't have eaten them, but they were so worth it (and I didn't react in any case!) She also will serve GF bread. She serves a full Irish breakfast and a couple of options, as well as the usual cereal, etc. Very nice....
