My husband and I arrived in Killarney late afternoon looking for a bed. We looked at one B&B and it was tiny so I decided to check out another and just happened upon Carriglea. Driving up to the beautiful old house I thought it would be outside our budget. Eileen greeted me in her beautiful Irish warmth and showed me...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with John, Eileen and 4 girls at their beautiful Carriglea House B&B in late May. While we only stayed 1 night it was truly a memorable experience and really appreciated all the information provided and the warmth of the whole family. A special musical treat from Eileen's daughter playing her concert cantina...

We stayed at Carriglea House Bed and Breakfast in May 2012 and had the BEST time!! It was as if we had known the homeowner Eileen for years! She was sooo easy to talk to and gave the best suggestions of where to eat and where to go while in Killarney and on the rest of our vacation in Ireland....

My boyfriend and I stayed at Carriglea House in late May. We saw it off the road and decided to try our luck. They had one room left, the garden room, and it was just lovely. A beautiful view of Lough Leane, a humongous bathroom, and a vanity were I could sit and do my makeup (not essential but I...

My family & I traveled throughout the southern part of Ireland this last summer. We had a wouderful experience in all the B&B's in which we stayed but by far the best was this gem. A beautiful family run house with a spectacular setting and ease of access to other destinations. They were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We are...

Carriglea House is a great place to be. The Rooms are extremely comfortable and the look over the lake is amazing. It is near to all the main attractions and a good starting point for daily journeys. Eileen is very courteous and has always a good tip were to go. Horse, donkey, dog and rabbits make this farm complete.

We stopped here so we could see Muckross house the next day as it was so close. The setting was charming and one of the most welcoming places we stayed. Breakfast was great and the view lovely. I loved that I could walk by the lake that evening. I would highly recommend.
