Parkfield certainly lived up to my expectations. It was easy to find, and in walking distance of the town, but not too close to be noisy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast caters for all tastes and is of a high standard. There are communal areas to enjoy, which encourages conversations with fellow travellers, and with Pauline, the hostess. Pauline...

I had four comfortable nights here; i arrived a day late but was made welcome by Pauline. I had a choice of room and choice of bed - all comfortableand warm. The house is back from the road ,so there's no traffic noise. It is clean ,comfortable and spacious. There was always plenty of hot water for showers. Breakfast was...

We spent 4 nights and enjoyed the stay immensely. Pauline is the owner and runs a fine guesthouse. The room was large and came with a large bathroom that had a very powerful shower.

Rooms are spacious and well appointed. This purpose-built B&B is very homey and has lots of nice touches that give a welcoming feel. Irish breakfast was great. Pauline the owner grew up in the area and is a wealth of knowledge, giving us lots of advise on places to eat and see with enjoyable personal anectodes.

To us, 8 hikers heading for the Kerry mountainrange during a long weekend, The Parkfield House was the perfect place to stay. Good rooms (2 family rooms, for 4 of us each), good showers and clean. And more than that: Pauline, the owner, went out of her way to serve us our breakfast anyway we wanted. And in all quantities,...

We recently stayed at Parkfield House as we were attending a wedding in Killarney. We were made to feel very welcome by Pauline, the owner, and we were free to come and go as we pleased. The rooms were of a good size and very comfortable, and the free full Irish breakfast in the morning, accompanied by a wide array...

The Tourist Information Office booked us into this bed and breakfast. They didn't have any useful information on the place or they would not have recommended it. From the outside it looked good but inside, generally it just felt dirty. Although the available description said it backed to farmland, it was just an empty field behind the house. The carpeting...

Such a nice B&B located right on the main street heading toward the city center of Killarney. Such a comfortable, welcoming feeling, like staying with family. Good price and fantastic hospitality! Also a great perk at this B&B that we were happy to find, was there was front door pick up by the local bus tour which takes you sightseeing...
