This is the first time I've ever felt bad to leave a review because the people who work here really are nice, polite and mostly professional. It's just that our expectations here were rather high and even the most basic expectations were not met. No, I've never felt worse about leaving a negative review. Everyone we interacted with seemed to...

Stayed at the Grand on a recent guys golf trip. Great staff. The food in the restaurant was very good and the evening entertainment was very good. Rooms are small but adequate. Location is perfect to walk the streets of Tralee. Owner knows all the golf history and manager had recommendations for other restaurants but definitely try their restaurant

Booked into the Grand Hotel for three nights for bed and breakfast. From the moment we got there to the moment we let we felt like one of the family. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was gorgeous. We didn't want certain things on our back fast so they change them for us. Lots of choice for...

I stayed at the Grand for almost three weeks while doing business in Tralee. The bed was comfortable, the en-suite facilities were clean and in good working order, and housekeeping was unobtrusive but reliable. The breakfast menu, cooked to order, offered lots of options (but I had the 'full breakfast' every day anyway; I like them). There is a full...

I've only tried the restaurant of the hotel and isn't that bad. The food was good, not exciting. Me and my friend have to wait almost until the end of the lunch to have a glass of water and a half pint of Guinness. The place is very good. The prices are a bit too expensive for me, but still...

The Grand Hotel is situated in impressive Denny Street in the centre of Tralee and presents itself s a high quality traditional hotel. The public rooms are heavy with mahogany, warm subdued lighting, and Victorian furnishings. However go though the first door to the bedrooms and it becomes much less grand, OK but fairly ordinary. However for a hotel claiming...

We dined here for lunch and were very happy with the service, quality of food and hospitality. The dining area was a bit small and busy but none the less we were quite pleased even though we waited awhile to get a table. I would definitely go back I found the food good quality and value.

A beautiful old hotel with plenty of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given one of the newly re-furbished rooms. As with most of Ireland, no elevator, AC, safe, facial tissue or luggage rack and a smallish room. Breakfast was included and had choices for every taste. The charm of the place made up for any shortcomings with...

Although I have family in Tralee, being a special occasion I thought I would stay here with my Partner. We were met by a polite receptionist who after doing the pre-lims gave us the key to room 102. It was only 1 flight of stairs and when we opened the door we were surprised at the size of the room-not...

I stayed here with my parents as we were attending a Communion. As soon as we stepped in we were greeted with friendly and enthusiastic staff. It really feels like home, with the charm of the decor. The rooms were spotless and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We...
