Loved this hostel. It was a lot smaller than I expected but it was nice and quiet. It's a little bit farther away from the main part of the twin than I expected but that was fine by me. The staff was wonderful.
Very clean place, very cheap. Not suitable if you are looking for social interactions and the leaving-room area, which is the only place where I could read closed at midnight.
Central location and nearby parking was cheap. Nice kitchen with dishwasher, coffee and some food.

It takes approx 20 mins to walk from the Kilkenny train station, depending on how much gear you have to carry/pull. There are several routesto get to the hostel from the station. not sure about the bus. There are a couple ways to get from the station but Kilkenny is quite small so you can walk everywhere.
