Stayed for one night in a room for 3 people for €210. Basically 3 single beds in a dark room and that was pretty much it. Had to charge my phone in hallway as there were no plugs in the room. No hot water in the dingy bathroom. Staff were indifferent. Location is good, breakfast was average, seemed clean. Wont...

Had a stag party last week at the Rafter Dempsey, Great time had by all 23 of us. Olive served us our Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and drinks during the day. The shower in our room was excellent. I would suggest the Steak on the Stone. It was very good. I would recommend the Rafter Dempsey's to groups planning a...

Perfect for a stag weekend, rooms are basic but comfortable. Staff are friendly and well used to dealing with Stag parties. Breakfast each morning was excellent, bar is reasonably priced for both food and drink. Location can't be faulted right in the heart of Kilkenny.

Room was clean but very basic. Also bring over a pub we expected noise, but there was none from the pub however a great deal for other guests, noise that was totally unnecessary. No coffee or tea maker in the room as advertised. Internet was not connecting.

This was a very quaint Pub B&B, right in the middle of town, in a great location. Breakfast was included in the price; the room was quite large, very clean. It was within walking distance of everything. We arrived early, but checking in early was not a problem.

Stayed here as part of a Stag. €65 a night with a small steak dinner and much needed Fry up the morning after. Two big screens for the sports and not far from centre of town. Staff very friendly. Rooms are various in size. Was very warm at night. Recommended all the same.

Lovely food, nice place, pity the boss is so rude. Old fashioned pub atmosphere. Central. Highly recommend steak on a stone. Staff is lovely. Try to avoid when the boss is around. Popular with hens and stags. Near all amenities.

My friend and I stayed here in June when she was home from NY, it was very nice, the staff were wonderful and breakfast was famtastic , I definitely recommend staying here. It's close proximity to the centre of town whilst still being quiet was a great advantage. The room was spotless and comfortable and the price was great.

This place is in a great location. Nice and friendly staff. Only downfall was tv wasn't working in the room and bathroom door wouldn't close. The room and bathroom was basic but clean. Very loud stag party staying at the same time which mean't it was hard to sleep but not the fault of establishment.

Thank mmc25
