Unfortunately we didn't stay overnight as hotel was fully booked, food, decor and service were all first class and really enjoyed the wedding. Lovely bar and bar food that was being served also looked lovely.

I had a hard time finding open rooms in Kilkenny and settled on Newpark as it had free parking, was close to city center, and open in the November off season. Hotel is large with many amenities (bar. Restaurant, pool) but we found the rooms and service to be average. Our room was cold and had multiple items not functioning....

I stayed at the Newpark in August as part of a large wedding group, and overall it was very good. There was a mild panic at the beginning as it seemed they couldn't find my reservation, but it was quickly resolved. Our room was in the basement, with simple decor but superbly comfy beds. We were out and about so...

I booked on booking.com over 6 weeks ago and I was sure breakfast was included. It was €80 per night for four midweek nights in November. A bit pricey seeing as breakfast didn't turn out to be included. We were informed that an irish breakfast would be €12.95 each or alternatively €8.95. Our room was on the ground floor and...

I stayed in this hotel last year. I usually stay in the river court but decided to try the newpark hotel and I wasn't disappointed. After having a chat with the very friendly receptionist I mentioned that it was a celebratory weekend for us and we were upgraded to a suite. The room was outstanding. The balcony in particular was...

Stayed here on Friday and Saturday night the 19TH and 20th. It is a super hotel with brilliant friendly staff. Jon, Maria and Rachael were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to help. The buffet breakfast is 2nd to none. The leisure centre is nice and clean with a lovely warm pool. Can't wait to come back to stay again....

I was most disappointed with our trip to the Newpark, there happened to be a wedding on the day in question and they seemed to take over the hotel, making it over crowded from when we checked in til we checked out. When we finally did check in we were greeted by a lovely Woman but there was huge ques...

A perfect place to stay after a lot of touristic walking. The lobby is very welcoming and the fireplace gives a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. Breakfast is a must, and when possible, B&B rates should be booked. Personnel is very nice!
