This premises is not fit to be called a hotel, it was just awful. The rooms were just so out-dated with rusty bath & taps, worn carpet. The floor is just so uneven on hallways & stairs & it is quite difficult to find your way to the room. The breakfast was just dreadful, tinned fruit,a tasteless greasy full Irish &...

I just had a ten once strip-loin here on Wednesday night with a couple of pints of Smithwick's. There is no better steak. I've said it before, this old world hotel does the simple things really well. The steak is cut for you from a whole striploin or fillet and served on a hot plate with just the right accompaniments....

The Club House hotel is a blast front the past, was originally a hunting club house and the walls are adorned with deer heads and wonderfully old cornices. Has a bit of a Faulty Towers feel to it in a good way. Breakfast is tasty though arrive early or you will have to queue. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Its...

The rooms are well appointed and comfortable but the hotel bar and dinning are old world charm and provide a great atmosphere to the hotel. The passageways from...

Stayed here recently with my partner for one night on a really good deal which included breakfast and a main course each. On checking in, I discovered that there was a supplement charged along with the voucher for a Friday night but it was totally my own fault for not reading the small print on the voucher, but even with...

Smell of smoke in the room when we arrived and the door left open to leave the smell out. Two single beds pushed together to make a Double bed. Bed sheets not big enough to cover bed. Dirty bathroom. Woken up in the middle of night by noisy guests. The gardai were in reception when we were checking out presumably talking...

Very central location. Car park available around the back. front of the hotel looked tacky with lots of flags and bunting and beer bellied drinkers outside. shabby, old, run down hotel but looks like they are doing their best to keep it neat and clean with no budget. You get what you pay for so we didnt expect too much....
