Stayed for one night for work and thought it was a very nice hotel. Very opulent decor, comfortable rooms with very fancy schmancy furniture. TV was a bit small and no fridge, but kettle and coffee machine were provided and the shower was stellar.
I really liked this hotel, It location is so handy for shops, restaurants, bars, the Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre. You can park the car (in the multi storey about 50m from the front door of hotel) and leave it there for the duration,...More

IRELAND is noisy and not good with dealing with the noise from the street and nightclubs. The population of Ireland drink and have parties and are some of the most friendly people you will find. If you don't find Irish people singing and partying in Pubs etc. you are probably somewhere else. Rooms are not air conditioned (just an old heater) we stayed there on the only hot day in Ireland this year and needed to leave the windows open, I suggest joining in the partying, and sleep when you get home
