We stayed in the Abbey Lodge b&b, there were 17 ladies on a birthday weekend in November (It was like a mini hotel) rooms were lovely and spacious. Breakfast next morning was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would like to stay there again. Only 5 mins walk to the town.

This was a great place to have your first day experience in Ireland! Rosie was ready for us when we arrived. She showed us our room and had to leave on a personal emergency, but she made sure we knew that her mother would make us breakfast the next morning....She gave us information for the town of Kilkenny and was...

This B&B is super clean, fresh, modern and quiet, despite being only 3 minutes from the centre of activity. Rosie is full of chat, without being an intrusion, and shows efficiency all round. I spent 4 days at Abbey Lodge and, after 20 years commercial travelling, rate it in the top 5 B&Bs in the whole country. You won't be...

The B&B was very clean and my room was modern. Abbeylodge exceeded my expectations! Restaurants were a just a few blocks away and a small park nearby to walk around or just sit a chill for awhile. If my travels bring me back to Kilkenny, I'm staying no where else but the Abbeylodge B&B.

Abbeylodge has a great location in Kilkenny, just off the main town center, but an easy walk to everything. Rosie is a great hostess, very personable and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms nicely decorated. We will definitely stay here on future visits.

My husband and I loved our stay at Abbeylodge. The room was huge, exceptionally clean and well appointed. The breakfast was standard, but good. The self-service station with fruits, yogurts and cereals was a nice touch. I would have liked this B&B just based on the room & location alone, but Rosie really makes the stay worthwhile and over the...

I traveled to Kilkenny with my parents (in their 60s) and sister (we are in our 30s). We all loved Abbeylodge! We arrived in Kilkenny at the perfect time--the night the town was welcoming their hurling team home from another All-Ireland victory. Rosie greeted us warmly on our arrival and filled us in on all the details of the town...
