From start to finish our visit to the Strand Hotel was well organised and efficient. Comfortable, well designed bedroom with thoughtfully arranged and safe accessible bathroom. We ate in the bar in the evening where the food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice - I particularly liked the fresh egg station - far better...

We recently held my mother's 60th birthday lunch in the restaurant at the Limerick Strand Hotel. Everything was great from start to finish. We were,as usual, late but there was no pressure put on us to hurry. The food was excellent. The Sunday buffet lunch is a great idea with plenty of choices. Everyone commented on how good the lunch...

Nice meals both dinner and breakfast, helpful staff, tea and coffee in room Booked online as was cheaper than walking in. (Went back to our car to book!) Fee for parking. Walkable to castle, we had view of it from our window. Got up upgraded to executive floor! Lots of perks. Highly recommend this place Ps Lots of events happen...

Hotel was easy to find and has a basement car park (Euro 7/night, fair enough for a big city). The main part of the city is just across the bridge, so easy to walk to places of interest. We paid a bit extra for a room on the executive floor, and had sideways view of the city from it. Room...

The hotel was all you would expect for the price but it scored additionally because of its ideal location. Positioned on the river and a short walk across the bridge to the main shops or on the hotel side to the castle and Thomonde Park

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel in particular the impeccable service at the terrace bar. Cormac provided us with great service and a friendly smile, his infectious personality made our night. I would highly recommend the hotel and would like to commend the hotel on its amazing bar staff

Ok, it's always been difficult to find fault with The Strand. The hotels location alone on the banks of the beautiful Shannon river speaks for itself. Limerick's river front makes it one of Ireland's most beautiful cities and the local "let Limerick surprise you!" slogan really works.... Thomas and I planned our wedding here and we're constantly impressed with Mairead...

I see a fellow 'witch' hen got in with a review before me.. and i think she summed it up brilliantly, but it has taken me until now to recover from a fab fab weekend in your hotel! As the organiser I had a task on my hand to ensure everyone had a brilliant weekend, and without a doubt the...
