Stayed here for a night, clean and tidy everything you need the couple were very nice. Checkout was too early, it stated 11am on booking.com but we were told 10.30am on arrival we attended a wedding that night and we're wrecked and had to drive the whole way to the far side of laois the next day so the extra...

Great breakfast. The owner is wonderful. We were here with a family group. Setting is somewhat suburban but easy to get to. - several great sites the next day and convenient to the interstate to Galloway. We went to the battle of boyne from here at the owners suggestions and it was perfect on our way to Galloway.

My family had the pleasure of spending two wonderful nights with Angela in her family accommodations. Her hospitality and the pleasant atmosphere were just what we needed after an extremely long flight. The room she had was perfect for our young daughter and older son and ourselves. Breakfasts are delicious and the coffee is amazing. We found the location to...

Our first night in Ireland was April 7 2015 and it was the perfect beginning to our trip and Ireland. Our host was gracious and friendly and provide us with a huge bedroom and large ensuite bathroom. The room was sunny and bright and extremely clean. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We needed to buy a converter and she directed...

This was our last stop before heading home and a wonderful stop it was. The B&B is lovely and our hostess was great. The room was a good size and our view was lovely. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was good. It's about a 15 min drive to the beach as well as attractions such as...

This place is everything the other reviewers say. However, it is 2-3 miles out of the town of Drogheda. This was a huge disappointment for us. Also, Europeans, wake up! The rest of the world likes to have ice with their drinks! Otherwise, accommodating, clean and comfortable.

This was our first B&B in-country and was quite a treat. It was easy to find and in a quiet location with a large yard. Angela was wonderful. Our room was a good size, the bed (and pillows) comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely appointed. All guest rooms appeared to be upstairs. Breakfast was generous and received high marks from...

Staying at Killowen House was the BEST decision my wife and I made when we visited Ireland. This wonderful B&B is located just 30 minutes away from Dublin in the quiet little town of Drogheda, a town with also plenty to see and do as well, and with very good places to eat!. I can go on talking about the...

This well-kept B and B just outside of Drogheda is perfect for taking in the highlights of the area. The hostess, Angela, was delightful. She became an angel when upon arriving she informed us that we could stay THREE nights, instead of just one. The room was comfortable and so pretty. The towel warmer in the bathroom actually worked! Loved...

Located in the outskirts of Drogheda (so you'd better drive a car to get there), this nice house has been converted into a five-room B&B. Friendly and helpful owners, cleanliness and comfort, and a nice complete Irish breakfast make it recommendable to stay in the Drogheda area. Only drawbacks was that they do not accept credit cards, so you have...

“Killowen House is located on a very quiet street so all rooms should be very quiet and coszy. The rooms in this B&B are all very clean and the beds very comfortable (We both slept like logs).. We're sure you should have NO problems with any room you choose.”
