I attended a function here recently . I though everything about the hotel was spectacular, ambience, staff service and not least the food! Unfortunately ,I was unable to stay overnight but I did get to check out one of the bedrooms . If I had stayed here I would have to be dragged from the comfort and the size of...

This year we decided on Westport for our annual girls night, we decided on Knockranny as we didn't want to be in the centre of town. Booked 3 twin rooms, we were warmly greeted by Edel & Miriam when we arrived & were delighted to hear we had been upgraded to grand deluxe rooms! Wow is all I can say...

We are currently staying here and so far, I'm wondering what makes this place so expensive...granted the room is large, 2 double beds (one double bed would have sufficed), the interior corridors need updating. The bathroom isn't what I expected from this hotel, there is no room to place toiletries near the sink and at the bath/shower so I've had...

We stayed in this hotel recently for a wedding and we were very disappointed. It is definitely not a 4 star standard and for the price we paid it felt like we got majorly ripped off. Our room (118) was like it was in a dungeon and there was an old musky smell. When we got back to our room...

Many thanks to Stephen O'Connell and his fantastic staff in Knockranny House Hotel for looking after our conference attendees so fabulously over the last few days. If there is a better conference venue in Ireland I have not seen it. Everyone commented on how wonderful the hotel and it's staff were for our stay. I am definitely planning to return...

I stayed here for a weekend with the family. The hotel is set on a hill with excellent views of Croagh Patrick and Wetport and is a 15 min walk into the town. The staff at check in were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a warm old world feel to it. The bedroom was clean and comfortable if...

Have stayed 5/6 times at Knockranny. Feel standards have slipped which can of course be remedied if the management relate more to the customer. Reception as always welcoming and efficient. The executive rooms which have a surcharge which one expects for an upgrade. The rooms are large and comfortable but their aspect is directly looks out to a confined '...

The leisure facilities are very good, the food is good, it looks like a small portion, but it is ample. No entertainment, which is where they fall down. The rooms are excellent and the staff pleasant. All around a nice place for a short break. Just outside Westport town.
