Westport is a deservedly popular destination, with probably dozens of hotels and B&Bs. Cedar Lodge came recommended and did not disappoint. About a ten minute walk from the centre and in a quiet residential area; our room was perhaps on the small side but entirely satisfactory. Breakfast was above average and our hostess very welcoming and friendly. Recommended.

I was in Cedar Lodge for a couple of nights in August. This is an ageing B&B, although it is clean and well kept both by John and Maureen. Rooms are clean but rather small and in my case, the private use bathroom was outside the room, just across the corridor, which is quite a nuisance. Food is good but... More

Cedar Lodge in Westport came highly recommended to me by a work colleague who stayed there at least twice a year. On arrival we were greeted warmly by our delightful host Maureen, who showed us to our room and then immediately went and put the kettle on for a brew. She sat with us in the lounge chatting and getting... More

We drove from Larne in Northern Ireland, to Westport on a beautiful day and that was topped off, by a great welcome by Maureen, who smiled us into her B&B and made us feel at home right away! She gave us easy directions on walking into town and where to dine and ALL her suggestions were top notch, so everything... More

My friend and I spent two nights at Cedar Lodge and found it to be the best B&B of our entire tour of Northern Ireland and the west coast, Maureen was delightful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. Near to town but lovely and quiet.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely B&B in Westport for 5 nights at the end of June 2013, whilst we attended the Westport Music Festival and enjoyed some real Irish hospitality. After a long flight from Australia to Heathrow then to Knock and finally to Westport by local bus we were pretty tired, but Peter met us at... More

Myself and my partner enjoyed a lovely night in Cedar Lodge. Maureen was a dote, very welcoming. It is a quaint little place with a lovely garden in a very quiet estate about 600-700 metres from the town (according to google earth). The breakfast was delicious. If you want somewhere quiet to stay in Westport only a shortish walk from... More
