An old hotel from the railway age making its way in the 21st-century. Noisy plumbing, dining room hidden away in the basement, local radio station playing in the bar to loud and distracting. Food just okay. Good live music on Saturday night. Good location, two minutes from the train station, five minutes from the town centre, good car park.

This hotel is friendly and welcoming with a great lounge and a good bar. The location is close to the town centre and the hotel is a focus for the locals as well as tourists. The breakfasts are fantastic, probably the best sausages I've ever tasted and you can tell the quality of a hotel by the quality of its...

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was excellent...good variety too. For the first time (having been to many hotels around Ireland with our group) each person that...

Booked this hotel on a midweek night, having worked in a 4star hotel I was appalled at how we were treated. We arrived to book in and the receptionist was not very welcoming what so ever, it felt as our party was two women mid twenties we didn't require hospitality offered to most and she was quite blunt and not...

We came with a group. We had requested two twin beds. We got twin beds made up as a double. We were told they would change it. What a great hotel ,from the comfy beds to the array of couches in the foyer where you can chill out .Shame about the bar and food . Dreadful food with poor service at a drab bar. Shame because I did love the place.
