This B&B was the best accommodation we stayed at during our 3 week tour of Ireland. An old manor house set in beautiful grounds on a working farm close to Waterford. Our hosts and all the extended family were most welcoming especially the very young boy who donned his wellies to show us around the farm with great enthusiasm. The... More

Staying at Foxmount Country House is not only a treat, it's a reminder of values many have left behind. Margaret and David have been living at Foxmount for 49 years and they are very proud of their working farm as well they should be. A foal was born three weeks ago and we watched him imprint his mother's ways out... More

My husband and I have just returned from our first visit to Ireland and for once I excelled myself on our choice of where to stay. We turned up from the Ferry to Foxmount Manor some 6 hours before check in and having not had any sleep all night, were whisked away to the Drawing room by David and brought... More

One of the most lovely experience we had in Ireland, and we had many. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were only there for one wonderful night. Beautiful rooms in a very tranquil country setting. An easy drive into Waterford and a short distance from good restaurants, particularly the Strand Inn, which was recommended by Heather, Margaret's daughter-in-law.... More

I stayed at Foxmount my first night in Ireland and had a fantastic experience. In fact, Foxmount encompasses all the qualities that one expects in a true B&B experience. When we arrived Margaret graciously welcomed us and showed us to our room, which had the most comfortable bed I slept in during our 8 nights in Ireland. As everyone has... More

Unfortunately, we had only one evening here. Our group of 6 from the US arrived and were greeted by Margaret who showed each couple to their rooms. They were superb. While we took a walk through her garden, she prepared tea and muffins. Breakfast was very nice. Probably one of the best we had on our trip (and our group... More

We stated there with our dogs for 2 nights. Rooms are large, beds well aired and comfortable and breakfast is just lovely. Dogs stay in a well build outhouse. Wifi in the lounge only. Taxi into Waterford centre is around €12.

This is a beautiful old farm manor house, and had family pictures adorning the walls that gave the house a wonderful ambiance. They served a very, very nice breakfast and all of the family who works there made our trip much more enjoyable. The only thing even remotely negative I can say about this B&B is that it's out of... Our one night stay at the Foxmount Country House was a delight! We were welcomed so warmly by Margaret, Heather, Lucy, and Master David, who I believe is already running the farm at the young age of "almost 4". The property is beautiful and peaceful. The house is historic, lovely and very clean, My bedroom was beyond comfortable with linens... More
