We stopped at Padua as it is convenient for the morning ferry. We had rung beforehand and ordered an extra room. Now four. We explained that we couldnt be sure of our arrival time as we were travelling from the West of Ireland but would probably arrive up to 10 pm. On leaving Bantry that evening we again rang to... Dear Roger Hart Thank you for your review stating our good facilities, however the rest is not true. You phoned a few days prior to your arrival to book an extra room and stated an estimated arrival time of 9pm -10pm. On the evening of your arrival your daughter called at 7pm and stated that you were leaving Bantry and... More

We came across this B & B as it is at the end of my MIL road, now although I was born and bred in Eire My lot are in Dublin or Cork and a stay at the Mother in Laws was not my idea of fun, so when we found this place it really was a golden ticket! Richard... More

Perfect location the night after arriving on the ferry or the night before departing. More importantly the beds are very comfortable and the room and bathroom very clean. The breakfast is absolutely delicious with some interesting gluten free options. The hosts really pride themselves on their breakfast and service and it shows. Very well done. The hostess recommended the pub... More

We have stayed here now for the past 8 years - annually on our first and last nights in Ireland. Richard and Nicola took over the business a few years ago and they have continue to improve on what was already a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable with loads of little added extras in the rooms,... More

This was the second stay enjoyed at Padua B&B, just a short distance from Rosslare ferry port, so an ideal overnight stop before catching the morning ferry to Fishguard or Pembroke. We were allocated one of the two upstairs rooms, overlooking the main Wexford/Rosslare road, so some traffic noise was apparent until the early houris, and again pre-dawn. Comfortably furnished,... We were more than delighted with our stay at Padua. Nichola and her husband were so welcoming and the accomodation more than met our needs. Everything that we needed was available, with such a lovely comfy bed and soft sheets, fantastic hot shower and all was immaculately clean. My elderley Dad was given a ground floor room, which made his... More

Just off the Pembroke to Rosslare ferry and 5 minutes out of port to this very nice B&B. Very friendly greeting and very comfortable room with good facilities. Only drawback noise of the main road but then you can't have everything.

Just stayed at Padua B&B on the night before ferry to UK, with 2 kids. As someone who has travelled this trip many times over many years, this is by far the most enjoyable and satisfying stay ever !! Fabulous family room, very close to ferry and splendid breakfast, just what you want. The little touches, simple items such as... More

Nichola and her Husband could not have been more accommodating, we had asked for an earlier check in, which they accommodated, we had to pick up the 2 others in our party from the boat which was delayed until nearly 10pm, both Nichola and her Husband rang to ensure all was OK. The rooms were clean bright and functional, the... More

This is how B and Bs should be done. Welcomed by Nicola. Showed to our room. Nice room with tea: coffee biscuits. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Fab nights sleep. Fab breakfast with all you could want fruit, gluten free options and full breakfast. Really well done. We will be back!
