It's closed!!! We only wanted a meal before catching the evening ferry, but it was closed, with no clues as to the situation. It's a shame, as in the past we have found it to be a very convenient pre-ferry stop, providing a decent meal in comfortable surroundings.

We booked an overnight stay many months ago and arrived yesterday to find the hotel closed and in darkness .Talking to locals it would appear the Chinese owners have found themselves in financial difficulties and the place has been shut for many weeks . We were fortunate in finding an excellent bed and breakfast nearby before taking the ferry this...

Dear redrumUK. You have my apologies in regard to your booking. You are correct that the parent company collapsed, I did spend as much time as possible cancelling bookings on the day but unfortunately i could only get so far before we had to exit the building. Unfortunately on 27th April the Harbour View closed for business with horrific effect...

I tried to email them and have received NO response and have tried to call them several times but I only get only a busy or error (call failed, invalid...

Stayed at this hotel the night before a ferry crossing (like everyone else). Slow check in as the Bar tender/waitress/receptionist is overworked. The food is pub grub with a Chinese menu added,. (I believe the owners are Chinese) Great tiger prawns but the Lasagna was inedible, and although my travelling companion couldn't chew it to eat it and it was...

She was booked in upstairs and nothing was said about changing her to downstairs room and she received no apology or explanation. The Rooms where very clean and comfy and a good night sleep can...

The rooms are spacious and clean, the food was delicious and they didn't skimp on the food like some hotels do. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel to...
