I stayed at the Riverbank for two nights, for my best friend's wedding which was held at the hotel. From start to finish we had an excellent stay. We arrived after midnight but were met by a very helpful night manager who checked us in and gave us all the information we needed. The breakfast was lovely both mornings and...

I enjoyed a great meal in the Riverbank Hotel Bar resturant last week. Brand new menu. Excellent range of meals (Irish/European). I had the poached smoked haddock with poached egg, which was a really lovely if not unusual combination. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. Good quality ingredients well cooked and presented. Nice relaxed atmosphere, and lots of families...

The Riverbank House Hotel was the venue for our wedding. It was amazing the detail the staff went to, they made our day absolutely perfect and all our guests said the service was A plus. They went to great lenghts to make us feel like we were the only wedding they ever had and really were magnificent.

Recently visited this hotel for a wedding, the staff were absolutely superb from start to finish, I was highly impressed. We had a double room which was small but clean and had everything you would expect such as tea and coffee, iron, safe, shower gels etc. The bar was fabulous with a lovely atmosphere. The evening food was delicious and...

I had lunch after attending a family funeral. The food was excellent and they were about fifty of us. I had chicken and ham and my wife had cod. The chicken was moist and vegetables were served on the side. My wife found the cod equally good. The portions were generous and the staff were very friendly.

We recently attended a wedding at the Riverbank. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a very nice entrance. The meal was excellent. Great food with great service. We even got a good night's sleep as the bedrooms are well away from the function room. After a great breakfast we left the hotel in good form despite...

The staff, especially the receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The manager (think h was manager) could be a bit more friendly - not that he wasn't friendly, just quiet, perhaps. The hotel is undergoing renovation but not obtrusive. The food's good and plentiful. Room was spacious and clean. Good breakfast. There's an overall feeling of calm in this hotel....

So we were a little surprised to have the kind of reception that rock stars might get ( except for a spare place in the car park) hundreds of people, men women and children, poised waiting for ?us?.....And a red carpet up to reception...but it seems that they were all waiting for the youngsters graduation night and the finery. The...

As has been mentioned in previous reviews, there is little parking at the hotel, however there is plenty across the road which is paid for. The hotel it self is a fabulous place with lush greenery inside and outside. Being situated next to a main road there is little noise and the hotel seems well insulated from the outside noise....
