Was a very nice cottage and the hot tub was great very friendly family run complex. Pool was great too and the surrounding countryside was lovely. We will be returning for the new year with the family.

We stayed in Lilac cottage with our 4 month old baby. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The cottage does need updating and could do with a good clean but was comfortable enough as a base to explore. If you want pristine luxury this is not the place for you. However, the private hot tub looked fairly new and was... More

We stayed as part of a large party occupying a number of cottages. Some of our party found a few shortfalls in their upkeep but I didn't - apart from the sofas that is which were well and truly shot so once down, getting back up was a challenge. Oh, and some of the microwaves were so high tech no-one... More

A group of 8 of us recently stayed in Oak Cottage . What a disappointment ! PLease believe the negative comments on this site and don't be tempted to go , even by the lovely pool ( which was great ) and the superb location ( also fantastic ) ! The interior of the cottage was shabby , cramped ,... More

Our visit to the cottages was better than could have been hoped for. The cottage although yes was small had everything that we required, it was clean and tidy and although a little dated did not bother us. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub an exceptional bonus. The fact the place is dog friendly was great and... More

Cottages need updating, shabby and in need of a good clean. Definately not 5 star rating in my opinion. Stayed in Elm that sleeps 8, little cramped, not enough seating for 8 around dining or living area. Owners Complained we were too noisy even though we had lights out before midnight each night! and had booked for celebration, guests aged... More

Stayed in cherry tree cottage with friends. Sleeps 6 but would be a bit cramped. 1 double with bath/shower and other twin with shower. Beds comfortable enough, tv , dvd and very limited wi-if due to location. Could do with a bit of a spruce up but still nice enough. Lovely indoor heated swimming pool, table tennis and pool. Communal... More

Stayed in Maple cottage for 3 nights. Not as good as the last hoseason I stayed at. The cottage was okay - perhaps a little dated and in need of a paint job. Living area and kitchen a decent size and good size bedroom. Bathroom not great. Curved bath which makes in difficult to stand in for a shower and... More

“For those with a young and active toddler, (but still in a travel cot), Willow cottage would not, in our opinion, be the best choice as there is a very beautiful, but very steep spiral staircase. Was fine for the first time we went with a babe in arms, but not so good now the 'little monkey' is mobile!”
