I visited the hotel/restaurant on Friday 29 October to celebrate my friend Karen's special (60 ssssh) Birthday. We had a lovely apartment, superb dinner in two parts, main course before our Elkie Brooks concert and cheese and dessert after.. bliss. Food wonderful, staff friendly, and helpful, couldn't wish for more. Five minutes walk from theatres/conference centre. The restaurant/bar is rustic...

As a treat on a recent roadtrip, we propelled ourselves to one of our favourite towns in the north of England... Dear Old Harrogate. It was Sunday, and it was lunchtime, there was virtually nowhere else to go but to that wonderful restaurant, sampled many times before... The Famous Harrogate Brasserie. Duly seated in those cleverly designed, jazzy surroundings, we...

Had a lovely one nighter here, room was across the car park in a newly renovated property and was very good, with its own front door, sadly didnt eat here at night, but menu looked very good, breakfast was plentiful with a good range and perfectly cooked. A very different hotel with the emphasis on quirky and all within easy...

We wanted a pet friendly hotel near to the town centre so this was ideal,The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way. We had dinner only one evening as we wanted to try other restaurants in the area,The food was lovely and breakfast were all cooked fresh to order and was served by cheerful staff.

I have been to this restaurant before a few months ago and I enjoyed the food then. This time I returned back for my birthday on Sat Oct 1st. Still the same excellent food and service. A little bit pricey but then again you get what you pay for. No jazz on Sat nights which is a shame. Would definitely...

We stayed here for a weekend, in one of the new rooms across the road behind the hotel. The room was well-fitted and comfortable, and quieter at night than those in the main building. There were a couple of issues with the bathroom but I am sure the owner has had those fixed by now. It's certainly not cheap; I...

Perhaps I 'm not used to old fashioned "hotels" like this but having to pass through a restaurant to get to your room is quite daunting . There is no whete to sit and relax if you get out of your room . There is no lounge; no outdoor relaxing space . Once you are out of your iwn room...

This is hard, I am a fan of this venue... But, the outdoor area, so many hand bag dogs sitting on chairs with cushions,, not good, then waitresses stroking them, having there hands licked and serving food n drinks... This should smash the hygiene rating to One Star... Sorry Badger, staff training needed .

Just by chance we walked past the Brasserie as we had one of our dogs with us and sun was out so we sat out on the terrace, bar staff gave our dog some water and extremely polite and helpful, we ordered 2 courses for £15 and what a delight!!! All three of us could not be wrong and we...
