What a welcome from Sue and what a fabulous room. The breakfast was second to none and the whole vist of 5 nights was a real treat. Great location, very close to town centre and all the many eating places. We will definitely return here!

We stayed at Shelbourne House for three nights whilst en-route back home to the Isle of Man from a cruise (and also visiting our granddaughter) and it has to be said that Sue's breakfasts were better than we had on board. I am a Coeliac, and Sue catered very well for me. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the room was...

Stayed here for two nights. Sue was very helpful, enthusiastic and provided us with lots of local information. Breakfasts were good and the room on the top floor was very spacious and comfortable. Central location and an easy walk to many restaurants. Parking worked well too.

Service is always outstanding and the rooms are beautifully kept, this is my 5th stay here and I wouldn't stay any where else. Room 6 is particularly lovely and the location is perfect for leisure or business as the conference centre is directly opposite 😀

I am completely at a loss as to how this place gets five stars. To be fair, it does have many good points. The landlady Sue is very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are great, the rooms are clean and it is a short walk from the town centre. Our room (and other guests had similar stories) was tiny. The...
