This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Just a short walk into the lovely town of Harrogate. There are two very pleasant lounges to relax in and a lovely dining room. The bedroom we had was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Coppice Room for 3 nights. This room had a large comfortable bed a modern en-suite shower. Breakfasts were delicious and we would highly recommend this hotel. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk down to Bettys and the Valley gardens and only about 5 minutes to the Conference Centre.

Originally we were going to stay at another hotel but due to a problem with their website we changed our booking and booked into Ascot House instead and I am so glad we did. We arrived in Harrogate by train and took a taxi to Ascot House. It is within walking distance but with luggage a taxi was easier and...

We've just returned from a couple of nights away in Harrogate, and Ascot House was one of the best things about our trip, it's a lovely hotel that is obviously trying very hard to get everything right. The building itself is an absolute delight, full of wonderful Victorian architectural features - so much character. The renovations have been sensitively carried...

Stayed as a couple for two nights, room was clean and comfortable, perhaps heading towards a refurb. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite. Breakfast was a cold selection followed by a choice of cooked options. On-site parking was a bonus as on-street parking is awkward and expensive due to time restrictions. The town centre was an easy 5 mins...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We asked for one of our rooms to be switched to a twin room at the last minute as we had forgot to ask when booking, and they managed to accommodate us without any fuss. We had dinner in...

I travel to Harrogate 2 or 3 times a year to visit my elderly folks. I tended to stay in a large Victorian hotel until I happened upon the Ascot House. It is 5 minutes walk from the Conference Centre and 10 from the centre of town.Very clean, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast is cooked to order. I...

We booked this gorgeous hotel for two nights from the reviews that we had read and it certainly didn't disappoint. We were greeted by Ann on arrival and as their were four of us, were given the loft rooms, numbers 27 and 28. We had room 28 and it was just delightful. Clean and tidy with a lovely modern bathroom...

Quiet neighbourhood; an extended Victorian house. Spotlessly clean with a tasteful mixture of old and new. Excellent attitude and capability of staff in all areas. Restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and evening meal.
