What a wonderful place. Just a few miles outside Harrogate it is a true escape from the rat race. Mark and Sue are excellent hosts, welcoming us with hot cross buns and tea. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast set you up for...More
Everything was perfect. Sue and Mark seem to have thought of everything, great attention to detail. Clean, comfortable tastefully decorated accommodation , good food and plenty of it. Friendly and informative. Beautiful bull finches in the bushes outside our bedroom window.
We have just spent a couple of days in an absolutely brilliant bed & breakfast owned by Sue & Mark, the epitome of great hosts.
Their attention to detail is second to none, their accommodation & quality of food is exemplary. The setting is first...More

Yes a couple of miles by car. Unfortunately no pub that I can remember within a short walking distance. For meals we did the fish and chip restaurant that's on trip advisor and there is loads and a decent starter. We also went to the Turkish restaurant. I was disappointed with the food I had but others around were enjoying I guess not really to my taste. There is a jazz pub in Harrogate we also ate at, the music on the stage I front of us made the evening good honest place great ales and good food. All the best 👍
