A great option for Sunday lunch. 10 of us are here on Sunday and had to sneak in before the kitchen closed. Stunning location and the pub had a really nice feel to it. Not fussy, not pretentious, just a cosy place with heart food and a relaxed atmosphere. We all went for a roast and my wife and I...

I booked 3 rooms for 1 night, the rooms were all well presented and clean. We ate in the restaurant on the evening and the food was well cooked and well presented as was the breakfast the following morning. I arranged sandwiches etc for 20 people the following day and these were lovely and indeed the information I had given...

We stopped here for 2 nights as we traversed the area- it was a handy & scenic base. The room was fairly spacious, did the business, and the shower was very simple to work- ideal when you consider I have all the technical nouse of a field rat. Breakfasts: day one, we both had the excellent "Full English" and on...

Good ambience, nice ales. Service was quick. Food reasonable, especially fish & chips. Was surprised to see the VAT added on top of the advertised prices on the menu and the specials board. Not really what we were expecting.

We stopped by the Wellington on route to brimham rocks . With three kids and a dog in tow it's never an easy job to be fair ! The food was lovely , all empty plates . The only quirk would be they seem to cater for locals more than the passing trade . Wouldn't say rude but not at...

Visited this place Sunday with friends who lived locally. It was their treat, so I felt awkward complaining to them. The table, for 6pm was booked in the dining room for 7.45pm. We arrived early and sat down a few minutes later. The head waiter took our order and pointed out that five of the options were sold out which...

Went out for some last minutes Sunday dinner and come across this place on a drive around. We were just a few minutes late but they still accommodated us. We had a lovely roast dinner and pud. The service was very good, but the pub was also very quiet after Mothers day rush. Would definately go again. Thanks

Stayed here for long Weekend. Couldn't have asked for a better venue. Lovely room with fabulous facilities and views. We ate in the restaurant on our first night with friends and we all had wonderful tasty meals freshly prepared and well cooked and presented. Breakfast the next day was just as good and and the staff were helpful. We really...

Popped in for a quick snack only to be disappointed. What I can't get over is why you can't get served a nice sandwich with proper bakery bread. Instead we had to make do with a mediocre sliced white with minimal filling. Sorry but this comment is fair and honest.
