Stayed at The Stuart for one night whilst visiting Derby for a wedding. Great location and a few minutes drive from the city centre. Five minutes walk to the Intu shopping centre. One of the few hotels in Derby city centre with free on-site parking. Comfortable room. We paid £49 for a standard double but got a free upgrade. Breakfast...

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walking distance of both the bus and the train stations which makes it ideal if you are using Derby as a base to visit nearby cities. Rooms are of acceptable size but bathroom is a bit more restricted especially when it comes to the use of the sink. Rooms are clean and...

We always stay here when attending gigs at the Flowerpot - just a short taxi drive away. Executive rooms are great, breakfast is very good, but best to ask for a pot of tea as that provided in "flasks" is not the best. Service from staff is good. Food in restaurant is quite good, but not exceptional. Free car park...

Stayed at the Stuart whilst on a course with work. Originally picked the hotel due to its distance to the course venue. A modest sized single room with small bathroom, but again I knew this before booking, following a mix up with room payment (my employers fault not the hotel) I settled in for my 2 night stay. Room cleanliness...

Stayed here for 2 night's. Parked In secure car park to rear of hotel, plenty of spaces when we arrived. Check in was fast and we were directed to our room. The room was more than adequate, felt a little dated but it was still perfectly fine. Only real downside was in the bathroom, there was no bath mat so...

An excellent hotel close to station. Good value, very clean, welcoming and friendly staff, adequate bar with good TVs for sports viewing, free wi-fi and free secure parking. Well situated close to town centre this is real value money and good for business or leisure travellers.

The Stuart is a bit of a surprise, the staff are very friendly, the beds very comfy and the cooked breakfast was excellent. There are some drawbacks, as we were on the second floor and there is no lift and the stairs are narrow. Allow the cooked breakfast was very good the tea and coffee were from flaskes which was...

been here before, nice hotel, nice room. On this occasion there were no bath towels in the room, so hanging up our clothes in the wardrobe, found 2 pairs of underpants and six pairs of socks (not clean). Very noisy room next door on the first night at 2am, the staff were very apologetic about both incidents, it would not stop us from...

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, excellent location and very very good breakfast, very impressed. Only complaint would be the rooms are slightly dated and the walls (and ceilings) are very very thin and it's a bit close for comfort getting ready to go out whilst people are 'being intimate' in the room above

Really impressed with the hotel and the friendly, helpful staff, especially Tina Pearson, who helped make it a special trip. It was a perfect base for exploring Derby and only a short bus journey to Nottingham. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the Derby area.
