We needed somewhere to stay after a night out with friends in Old Town, as a taxi back home 20 or so miles after a few drinkies, was not an option. We parked for free at the rear of the property and were given a pleasant and friendly welcome from Stephen. Our room on the ground floor was situated at...

I was on a business trip recently to Swindon, needing to stay over for 3 nights. After making the booking by telephone, I was unavoidably delayed at work and did not check-in until after 9 p.m. but was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received from the proprietors, Stephen & Fiona, who took the trouble of making sure that...

Great b&b to stay in for a visit to Wiltshire. Rooms were very clean, the owners were warm, helpful and had very good knowledge of the area. Very centrally located in Swindon and easy to find. Would definitely recommend

We had a call on mobile asking us time of arrival which we gave. When we arrived we were welcomed and signed the registration form we then paid for the room and were shown the dining room and given the key to our room which was number 17 on the top floor! When we entered the room we could feel...

Thank you for your response and we are sorry that you seemed to have some problems with your stay. Your room was upgraded free of charge to a small family room from a double room which has an extra bed and was on the second floor which is quiet and has a nice view overlooking Queens Park. Except for a...

We stayed in this hotel for two weeks and we felt very welcomed. Stephen and his wife were great hosts and they served us a lovely breakfast every morning. The room and the bathroom were small but still very comfortable and clean; they were cleaned daily by the friendly staff. However, we had only a small wardrobe with hangers in...

Well run hotel that is in a good location for town centre and local bars. Hotel is easy to find and has free parking at the rear of the property. Rooms are large and seemed clean. Breakfast was mainly English but had fruit and a few other options available. Not a 5 star property but perfectly usable for a 1...

Conveniently located in the heart of Old town, dead centre on Victoria Road, bang opposite a bus stop, Swandown B&B is one of the best-located and reasonably priced hotels in Swindon. I reached this place at 11 PM but the management was kind enough to accommodate me well past the closing time of the front desk. There are quite a...

I stayed in this B&B for a week on a work trip. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is a downstairs lounge with comfortable sofas an a desk. The Wifi worked well in my room and in the lounge. The owners were very helpful and I would recommend this B&B. Unfortunately, due...

Booked single room to see group at The Vic just up the road, ideal location. greeted by owner, nice clean en suite, TV coffee maker etc. Recommended Fratellos Italian restaurant down the road which served excellent food. Would definitely recommend and use again if in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights September - 2015. The included breakfast was really nice and the service was spot on. The family who run the hotel are really friendly. The location is very close to the old town and down the hill is a whole host of restaurants, a cinema and main Swindon high street. Very clean rooms and accurately pictured...
