This is the worst place I've ever stayed. The bedding didn't smell clean the towel didn't smell clean, it's scruffy dirty and dinghy. The continental breakfast is just some cordial in the corner some cereal and some chocolate bread things that are supposed to be croissants, in need of a major make over, and probably new owners. The only bonus...

Although new to this business the manager went out of his way to make sure my stay was perfect . Very friendly and approachable . Nothing seemed too much bother and would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and family . Arrived to find tea and coffee making facilities in my room with complimentary biscuits which were very welcoming after...

Stayed here before flying from Heathrow. The beds were uncomfortable and very hard. The shower and toilet were in a literal tiny cupboard, and the sink was in the room. The room we stayed in was next to the car park and very noisy. The only positive thing was that the included breakfast was fine.

My daughter and I had 2 single rooms for one night and for the price we were happy with them. They were warm, clean, en-suite and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. The lady owner was very friendly. Would advise you not to park at far end of rear carpark as you may find 2...

I stayed 3 nights - on business. The Fir Tree Lodge was found on Late Rooms and cost a total of £114. To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much for that price but I was pleasantly surprised. The owners are very polite and helpful. Rooms are nice, very clean and warm. Breakfast is outstanding. I would recommend a stay....
