We had a wonderful stay recently at this B&B. My husband stayed here last year and praised it so much I had to see it for myself. I was in no way disappointed. Beautiful place, wonderful hosts who are two of the loveliest, warmest people we have met. Absolutely faultless in every way. Will stay again next year for sure!

I researched a lot of hotels and B&Bs in the Telford area when planning our trip to Ironbridge Gorge. The reviews for The Old Rectory of St James (on TripAdvisor and elsewhere) were so full of praise that I immediately put it at the top of my list. The reviews speak for themselves; you could be forgiven for thinking they've...

There is nothing more that this property could possibly offer for the traveler. We also own a B&B and during out 13 week tour of England, we compared our lodgings with our own property in a bench marking exercise, because as any B&B owner would know, each property has some unique features. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We did stay in...

The best B&B I know. A perfect stay as usual. The cake was beautiful and catered for the Vegan in our party. Superb breakfast in a quiet peaceful location but handy for local attractions. Adrian and Rosemary were brilliant hosts.

I have to start by saying, this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. I'm not normally one for B&B's as I like to know what standard of accommodation I'm looking at but The Old Rectory of St James could definitely convert me! I would almost go as far as saying it could give most boutique hotels a...

The Rectory is in a quiet and peaceful place. The owners Adrian and Rosemary were lovely hosts and all we needed was to hand. Our stay was short but we will definitely return when next in the area. This part of Telford is excellent to be able to see close at hand the past history of the area alongside the...

Second visit this year. Best guest house/B&B I have ever used. Couldn't fault it in any way. Food supurb. Owners very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. And as good as any large hotel I have ever used. Recommend it to anybody.

This place is definitely deserving of all of the good reviews, I had a lovely stay. I stayed for 3 nights and had breakfast every day which was delicious and dinner one night with all either home grown or locally sourced ingredients. My vegetarian needs were well accommodated. Rooms were spotless and bed was very comfy. Adrian and Rosemary were...
