I stayed in one of the accessibility rooms, due to my slightly limited mobility for 2 nights. The room was easy to get to and close to the lifts. The bed was firm and the pillows gloriously plump. However, I got on average 2h40m sleep each night and wasn't able to fully enjoy the bed. The walls in this new...

Stayed at the Travel Lodge on 17/09/16, hotel was clean and pleasant. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly Phil who suggested a local Italian restaurant for our evening meal, which was excellent!

Had a brilliant time staying here over the weekend with my elderly mum. Wendy and colleagues were brilliant and always up for a laugh and really cared for us and went that extra mile to be helpful. If we ever have to visit Bolton again, we'll make sure we stay here again! The atmosphere between the staff was excellent as...

The bedrooms were great, comfortable, enough space, and suitable bathroom facilities. However, the service downstairs was very slow, especially for a limited amount of drinks and not a great variety on the menu. Nonetheless, the drinks were cold, the food was hot, and the team were friendly & personable throughout.

I needed to contact the hotel to check on some pre-arranged facilities. I spoke with Wendy on reception who took Customer Service to a whole new level. She is discreet, friendly, courteous, understanding and efficient in every way possible. Any company would be proud to have Wendy representing them and she is an absolute credit to Travellodge. I would have...

On of the rooms had a bad and a stale smell, it was reported to the staff but nothing was done. Also the attendant at the breakfast bar was not present and when he appeared he was not pleasant at all.

I was performing in Bolton so needed a room, Travelodge rushed to my aid with a not so hefty price. I thought YES, This is where I will sleep. I turn up at the hotel greeted by a lad called Phil who was nice enough. Told him I'm a comedian, roles reversed pretty quick since he was funny as well....

The staff at River St were very helpful and friendly. Only asked for rough directions to the other side of town and a route map was promptly provided! Couldn't have asked for more service. The room itself was good, although the traffic at rush hour was noticeable if the window was left open.
