I've stayed in far worse but nothing to write home about. Leisure centre was good but the food in the bar was terrible. It got the job done but wouldn't be rushing back outside of work necessity! Staff made an effort to be fair though.

Seven of us visited in April and stayed in two family rooms as part of the Peppa pig world deal. We arrived after a busy day at the park to some mixed service on the desk. I can't exactly say our young families were greeted with a smile. Rooms were ok. Real let down was the food. We decided to...

We stayed here for one night as we were on our way to Stonehenge. Apart from the nightmare of the M3 motorway which has substantial roadworks at night, the stay was very good. The rooms were a little small for 3 (we had 2 rooms as we are 2 adults and 4 children however they were clean with comfortable beds...

After a day at Newbury races yesterday we called in to the Apollo hotel for a drink and relax before going home. Could not believe how extortionate it is. Tea for 4 and a single Scotch just under £18. A bottle of Personified lager (approx half a pint) was £5. The Ladies toilet in the reception area gave the impression...

We stayed at the Apollo for an overnight stay whilst visiting Paultons Park (about 40mins away). It is easy to reach from the M3. We found the check in staff quick and helpful. We used the indoor pool which was very well heated so great for small kids that get cold quickly. The pool is pretty small but the kids...

Also what they do not tell you in the booking is that the Pool in the hotel only allow 25 people in at a time, we...

We where checked in with minimal information given, no breakfast times, no check out times, not shown where our room was or about using the spa facilities. We made our own way down to our dated and tatty family room for 2 adults, and 2 children aged 3&9. We found a double bed, single sofa bed and a cot, unsuitable...
