Very close to the Open University, but otherwise quite isolated. No restaurants, supermarkets, shops around. Quite clean, basic in terms of amenities (offering only shampoo/bodywash & handwash), no iron in the rooms, no mini-fridge (!). Also, remarkably bad isolation. Normally, I am not the one to complain about noise, but if you are a light sleeper I would advise you...

Stayed here for a conference in January 2017. The room was clean and had everything that you needed inside. It was however cold and although I turned the radiator up, this seemed to have very little effect. Furthermore, although I was only staying on my own, the bed was not a full double in size, which seemed very strange. The...

I was here to present at a large conference and arrived late on the evening before. The room was cramped, very warm due to a very powerful radiator which was easy to adjust. The television didn't work and the furnishings were disappointed oak(ish). Very clean yet basic bathroom with noisy fan - and the noise from the corridors was loud....

I stayed here many years ago and said then that I'd never come back - but had no choice this time. All the staff were very good. Couldn't fault their service at all. Rooms were clean but remind me of university halls of residence. The room did get cold overnight and as it's only got a radiator for heating I...

Where to start! Checked in and got sent through a rabbit warren of passage ways and covered walk ways to a completely different building. I then stood like a lemon waiting for automatic doors to open - couple of steps back, then forward again, waved my hands about in case it activated a sensor only for a guy to come...

I needed a relaxing break away from home. Found a reasonably priced double room at KentsHill Park. A nice modern room, rather smallish but it had the basics, flat screen TV with 6 channels only, clean bathroom and electric - oil heater which I found helpful as the room was a little bit cold. Having spent most of the night...

The hotel is very conference centre looking, but as it is you'd expect no less. It was slightly dated in the rooms- using a key to enter and locking the doors behind you, no automatic lights, but the bathroom was very modern! Amazing shower!!! Overall it was very clean, staff were friendly and everything we asked for we got. The...

My work often put me in this place and it's horrible. Feels more budget than a Travelodge. There was a bug going round while I was here so food had to be kept separate and needed to sanitise!! So disgusting. The beds are small and old and horrible uncomfortable. Only good thing is the staff are all friendly
