Would never go back with the experience what we had to go through. The overall experience for the money was very disappointing. My family work for NHS if they treated people how we got treated it would be a very poor situation.

Hotel's Favourite
Our stay was to celebrate my wedding Anniversary with family n friends. Having checked in with the duty manageress who was very helpful in trying to get most of us together same floor. Our rooms were very comfortable having been upgraded. We asked for fridge, it arrived within minutes. Once checked in we went swimming, had a sauna and steam (now you can have over 20 people) The restaurant staff arranged for a large table of 16, for dinner, and we pre ordered our meal, which came out piping hot, and no mistakes. Please thank restaurant staff for going out of their way to accommodate such a large table. Later on we had drinks in the bar with Pina Colada being the main drink. However on our second night the bar staff ran out of pineapple juice, so no Pina Coladas. Should have got more stock in!! The staff in both the restaurant and the bar plus the reception were outstanding nothing was too much for any of them.

Having stayed in numerous hotels over the last few months, I have to say that Hiltons in general are far superior to others and the 1 in Maidstone 1 of their better ones. As a Hilton Honors member, I felt I was really appreciated, on check in our car was registered for us, we got an upgrade. The room we had was a deluxe, not sure its quite what I would call deluxe but it was a lovely room overlooking the out side area and garden. The bed was super comfy, bathroom a good size. Ultra clean, cannot fault anything with the room or the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was there was a wedding party in the bar one night and they were very loud, in our room it was like they were in with us!! I think they could do with either enclosing the bar Area or making it a rule to close doors to the corridors. Luckily they died down about 10.30...ready for big day? But it didn't spoil our stay, would definately recommend and would stay again

No air con, no lifts, rooms very stuffy, hotel is very old, needs a lot of updating. Car park is £5 a day. Long queues in reception all the time as there is only 1 member of staff there! Would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the potential to be a nice place to stay but is ruined by the service of certain staff members. The restaurant and reception staff are very helpful but trying to get service at the bar is a mission. Out of hours almost impossible as only can charge to your room but the credit cards kept de-registering meaning unable to charge to the room. One particular barman on duty on evening of 28th Aug was fantastic, helpful and pleasant. A woman purporting to be the restaurant manager was the most rude and unhelpful person I think I have met for a long time. Refused entry to a wedding party for breakfast because they were in matching pyjamas which covered all, but then allowed people in robes from the swimming pool and people in shorts from the gym. These were far less modestly covered than the wedding party. This same person refused a cup of tea at midday to 76 year old woman despite the tea all being up and running. She said it had finished and it was against the law to serve your own tea. I wouldn't mind having sight of this law. All in all this woman seemed to be a jobsworth at the highest level and all the time that there is a possibility this woman works they, I would never stay there again. I spent over £1200 during my stay but I'm sure the Hilton can afford to lose my business. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Leisure facilities are great. Most of my party have been double charged for their rooms. Just waiting to access our credit card to see if we have. Overall a pleasant hotel let down by a small number jobsworth condescending staff which has the knock on effect of providing poor service. I have never stayed at a hotel where you can't get a cup of tea or coffee at midday
