We booked this hotel, and got confirmation. Travelled over 5 hours to get there. Found it closed when we arrived, nothing to explain, what we were to do. Extremely bad practice, why accept our booking when closed?? Fortunately we found a travel lodge near by. In future wil not be reccomending this hotel and advise people to avoid.

Made an online booking 15/05/17 for the night of 16/05/17 which was confirmed by email with a reservation number. Drove 300 miles and when arrived the place was locked up with an hand written note in the window stating business had closed down!! . Grrrr !!!!!!!

Fantastic food, really good prices considering the quality. Great waiter with good knowledge of the wine menu. Not cheap, over £120 for two at lunch but definitely worth while. Had the place to ourselves! Little known restaurant I think. Must try.

Stayed over the weekend at The Townhouse, firstly the location is fantastic. Only a short 5 minute walk into town, we parked at Lockmeadow as it was long stay and free on Sundays. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady and shown to our room (number 3) Very nicely decorated and a great size, it had everything you would need....

We celebrated our Son's 1st birthday here. It was just perfect. Thank you so much to head chef Dom and his team for creating a perfect menu and for cooking a delicious 3 course meal for our family and friends. Thank you also to our waitresses and to Joe for catering to our every need. Would defnitely recommend!!!

Maidstone is a town saturated by chain restaurants with little by the way of choice when it comes to interesting well conceived menus. The Townhouse is a very welcome exception! The menus are always filled with a mix of classic and creative dishes. All of which are delivered with grace and attention to detail. I'll need no persuading to visit...

Spent one night here as my cousin was getting married nearby. Excellent location for this purpose. I booked two rooms, one for us and one for my parents asking for a lower floor for them which we got. We were able to book in early and they have all night security which is also great. The rooms were large and...
