Hotel was lovely, staff very accommodating, rooms very clean and bright. Overall experience was very good. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. Didnt face any problems but staff were there if needed to sort things out 24/7. The room was decent sized, clean, bed was comfy (a little squeaky) shower in the bath was powerful and the bath has plenty of space for 2, fresh towels on request. Food at the pub and grill was better than expected breakfast was fresh and a good spread of hot and cold food (was missing hashbrowns tho) dinner was superb service was good very tasty and decent price for what you get! Overall we loved our stay at the village hotel Maidstone. Will definitely be coming back, or stay at other village hotels and will recommend this hotel 100%

Overall a lovely hotel. Staff were helpful. Breakfast stopped early at 9.30 and we were not advised this at checkin. Room was large and clean. Lovely shower. Pillows too full for my liking. Great fan in room to cool down.

This hotel could be ok but needs management attention. We have stayed at two other Village Hotels previously and they have been good. The worst bit about this one was the restaurant. It’s impossible to have a civilised meal with all those screens blaring

Really bad. I don't even know where to start. Poor service at the bar, Poor dining facilities, no consideration given to actual guests when letting the general public into the swimming area or gym (so no, I didn't use either). Why not just be a Public Baths with rooms?. Some grubby looking (in other words scruffy) bar tender trying to be clever and asking me to confirm I had ordered a "FULL FAT" coke or a "Skinny" and also trying to look even cleverer by offering my wife a pint glass for a Rosso and Lemonade. The food is junk food at a higher price rate and nowhere to sit away from loud blaring giant TVs on every available wall. Breakfast plates are cold (they can't be bothered to turn the plate warmer on) so food is cold when you get to the table. The place looks tired, even filthy. The manager needs a good talking to as it is not all the fault of the staff. Parking for residents needs to be reviewed as it is £5 per hour on certain times of the week and you could get stung when booking in.

Rooms hot and stuffy noise horrendous.Restaurant again very noisy TV screens on nearly every wall so nowhere to relax with a drink. The breakfasts everyday were cold.just don't book.being charged for parking if you are staying there also needs to be reviewed as people only using gym or pool get all spaces.Staff in bar need to be trained as there attitude is terrible.
