Whether you're staying to see the sights or you're here on business, Premier Inn Hotel Maidstone Town Centre is a really handy place to stay. Many of our guests come for the festivals too, including the River Festival on the Medway. You could join in the celebrations at the Social Festival, or get away from it all strolling the rolling Kent Downs. See the awesome-inspiring Leeds Castle, or simply wander around Maidstone town centre for some great shopping at Fremlin Walk. Then return and recharge in our tasty restaurant and lovely comfy beds.

Great service and stay, the only issue we had was arriving, we missed the entrance so had to drive round the 1 way system again but other than tht it was a great stay and the location is good close to the town centre and the beds and room was amazing

It’s a Premier Inn, service in all is always good. The only negative is the car park, it’s not signposted from the road and whilst Google will find the car park ok the in car sat Nav will not. Perhaps they would have clear instructions on their confirmation email

The hotel itself was perfectly adequate for a business trip. The staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were standard build and as usual I could hear the person above my room moving about and the people in the next rooms talking but sadly that's seems to be standard in all Premier Inns. One issue was the hotel entrance is down a small side road that is off the main one way system and isn't adequately signposted from the road until you are along side it. The postcode sends the SatNav to the loading bay which past the entrance and you need to go round the one-way system again. If you're not looking for the entrance you'll miss it. My main dislike about this Premier in was the £6 per day additional parking fee. I know many hotels charge for parking but the majority do subsidise it for residents this on doesn't. The additional cost for parking made this hotel more expensive than the next nearest one which had free parking. By comparison the Travelodge is only a few hundred metres away, has Free and works out £100 cheaper for 5 days! I know where I'll be staying next time!

Clean and tidy hotel as you would expect but what made it exceptional was the attitude of all the staff we encountered who went out of there way to be friendly and helpful, will definitely stay there again when we are in the area

Myself and several family members stayed here for a family funeral. My sister fell in the bath and broke her wrist. Staff could only offer her a bandage and pointed to a phone by reception that was for a taxi company, leaving her to sort this herself. The duty manager called Laura, couldn’t have cared less. We asked if it had been noted in the accident book, only to be told, it was all done on line and we would have to contact customer services, if we wanted a copy. This later turned out to be untrue. We asked for the three rooms to be cleaned after two days and the cleaner outside our room noted the room numbers down. Only one room was cleaned and when we asked for the other two to be done, Laura. The duty manager, was huffing in our room, clearly unhappy at having to do this. The continental breakfast was very sparse, we had to ask for some more croissants and fruit, We were staying there at a very difficult time for our family and they just added to our grief. The manager Tony who came on duty the day we were leaving was very good and was appalled at the treatment we had received. We will never stay there again.

Hi Dianne, Thank you for your review. We’re very sorry that you had a disappointing stay with us recently due to the incident with your sister and the service you received from the team. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect for you and we do hope your sister is okay! We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with the team to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. If you get in touch with our Guest Relations Team, they will be able to investigate this further for you. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Tayler
